F. Blair Schmidt-Fellner
President/CEO, Endurance Business Media

Blair Schmidt-Fellner, along with partners, purchased Cygnus Publishing (formerly PTN Publishing) in June of 1997. With over 60 publications, it was one of the largest and most successful publishers of trade and business-to-business magazines in the country. In June of 2000 he sold the company to Boston-based ABRY Partners for $275 million, returning to investors equity of $185 million.
Schmidt-Fellner left Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in 1995 after seven years to be an entrepreneur for the second time. After receiving an MBA from the University of Virginia in 1985, he was co-founder and CFO of Act III Broadcasting, Inc., a successful independent television station group backed by Norman Lear, which sold for $540 million in January 1996.
In 1988, he began at TBS as Director of Business Development for the Turner Entertainment Networks. He was Turner Network Television's first employee, helping to write the business plan and assemble the programming for the most successful launch of a cable network yet completed.
In late 1988, Schmidt-Fellner purchased the assets of Jim Crockett Promotions for TBS and started World Championship Wrestling, now the largest company in its field. In 1990, he launched SportSouth Network with TBS, TCI, and Scripps Howard as partners. Under Schmidt-Fellner, SportSouth grew to profitability in four months and became the largest regional sports network in the country, currently with 5.7 million homes.
In addition to his duties as President of SportSouth, in 1992 Schmidt-Fellner was named EVP and CEO of Turner Private Networks, which included CNN's Airport Channel. In 1993, The Airport Channel grew from 8 to 25 airports and to profitability. Also in 1993, the duties of managing TBS/Time Warner's $100 mm investment in NTV, Berlin, Germany were added for a short time. In 1994, Schmidt-Fellner was named Chairman of the Committee to build a new $200 million arena for the Atlanta Hawks.
Included in his professional and civic activities are memberships on the Board of Directors of Metro Atlanta's Boys and Girls Clubs and Ethnic-American Broadcasting Co. Schmidt-Fellner grew up in Riverside, Connecticut, and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Terri and three young sons. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1979.


Patrick (Pat) Nadler
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Nadler became our Chief Executive Officer as of May 2005. As CEO, he is responsible for all Homes & Land operations and activities. Pat has 23 years of publishing experience. From 1982 to May 2005, he was with Cygnus Business Media in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. He held various positions with Cygnus including Executive Vice President, Group Vice President, Group Publisher, and Sales Manager. He has an extensive background in launching trade publications, custom publications, trade shows and websites.


Richard (Allen) Harrod
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Harrod has been with the Company since 1976. Prior to being promoted to his current position he was President of Printing Operations. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer for The Printing House and Senior Vice President of Operations for The Printing House. Allen has headed overall printing operations since 1990.
His previous experience with the Company is comprised of a variety of management, customer service and operating positions, including Vice President of Operations for The Printing House, Vice President of Customer Service for Homes & Land and The Printing House.


Robert A. Hardy
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hardy was hired in February 1997 as the Company's Controller and was made Chief Financial Officer in November 1997. He is responsible for all financial functions of the company. Prior to joining the Company in early 1997, Robert served as Group Operations Controller for the Media Services Division of Rand McNally in Nashville, Tennessee for over 2 years. During that time, he oversaw financial operations of facilities in Nashville, Tennessee; Fremont, California; and Shannon, Ireland. His prior experience includes seven years as Controller for Ebonite International, Inc. in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of bowling products and he was previously Budget Administrator and Cost/Inventory Accountant for the Consumer Electronics Division of General Electric.


Richard Ramsay
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Ramsay joined the Company in March 2001 as Vice President of Electronic Systems and was promoted to Vice President of RD&E for The Printing House in December 2001. Richard was promoted to his current position in September 2002. From 1997 to 2001, he was employed by Homes.com LLC in Tallahassee as Vice President of Software Engineering.
From 1994 to 1997, he was the Bureau Chief of Technical Services at the Florida Department of State. From 1986 to 1994, he was a software engineer for the Florida Division of Corporations. His prior experience includes progressively responsible positions in management information systems, software development, and Internet advertising systems and design.


Rob Wicker
Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Wicker is responsible for the national advertising, developing media and marketing support for the franchise network, corporate communications, and company events. Rob joined Homes & Land in 1997 as Regional Manager, was Vice President of Homes & Land company-owned magazines in 2000 and 2001 and was promoted to his current position in 2001. His prior experience includes Director of Career Development and Senior Management Consultant for Century 21. Previous positions also include marketing, promotions and direct sales.


Doug Smidley
President of Homes & Land Affiliates, LLC

Mr. Smidley was employed from 1977 to 1998 by The Printing House, our printing division. During that time, Doug managed several departments including Homes & Land customer service and The Printing House commercial printing customer service. In 1998, Doug became Manager of the Company-owned Homes & Land of Tallahassee magazine franchise. He successfully ran this magazine until 2002 when Homes & Land Corporate sold the franchise to an existing Publisher and he accepted a position as Vice President of Franchise Services. In September of 2004 he took his current position with Homes & Land Publishing. Prior to coming to work with The Printing House and Homes & Land, Doug had various positions in the printing and bindery business.


Maggie Wyatt
President of Homes & Land, LLC

Ms. Wyatt joined Homes & Land in January 2000 as Regional Manager for Franchise Operations. In 2003 she became VP of Operations for Homes & Land Company owned books. In May 2005 she was promoted to President of Homes & Land, LLC. Her prior experience is 10 years of publishing with Real Estate Magazines in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Brian Delaney
Vice President of Franchise Services

Mr. Delaney joined the company as Vice President/Director of Franchise Operations of Homes & Land Publishing, Ltd. in November of 1999 and became Vice President of Franchise Services in September of 2004. Brian was formerly the Director of Business Development for RE/MAX of New England in Marlborough, Massachusetts. He served in the role of Senior Business Consultant for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation in Vienna, Virginia from 1991-1997 and as Vice President of Hunneman and Company Real Estate Corporation in Boston Massachusetts from 1987-1991.


Brian Crawford
Vice President of Franchise Sales

Mr. Crawford became our Vice President of Franchise Sales in September 2004. Prior to that, Brian spent seven years with MilliCare Commercial Carpet Care out of LaGrange, Georgia in the positions of Southwest U.S.
Regional Manager, International Business Manager and Director of Franchise Sales. Prior to MilliCare, he was with United Parcel Service's truck rental & leasing division in various sales and sales management roles for four years. He began his career in sales and operations management with a franchisee in the Grand Rental Station franchise system.


Tom Perny
Vice President of Franchise Operations

Mr. Perny became our Vice President of Franchise Operations in September 2004. From January 2004 to September 2004 he was our Director of Associate Publisher Development. From January 2000 to January 2004, Tom was Director of Associate Publisher Development of HLP. Prior to that, he was a Franchise Regional Manager of Homes & Land Publishing since June 1996 - additional responsibilities during that time included active management of Homes & Land of Gainesville, FL. Prior to coming to the Company, Tom spent seven years at Citibank/Citicorp with progressively responsible positions in sales origination, regional sales analysis and sales management. He is responsible for Publisher Training Programs and Distribution vendor management.
