The Seven Diamond Seven Ranch is one of those rare locations where Mother Nature and western expansion have harmoniously merged. It is a scenic setting that includes 5,586± acres, of which 5,161± are deeded, with the balance consisting of state and BLM leases. The ranch currently runs 230 pairs year round and puts up on average 350 tons of hay on 180± irrigated acres. The improvements, which are modest, include three homes and a solid set of ranch buildings. Everything has been well maintained and kept in excellent working condition. The ranch is less than three miles from downtown Buffalo, WY yet harbors abundant wildlife which includes elk, deer, turkeys and upland birds. Clear Creek skirts the ranch for nearly two-thirds mile and provides superb fishing for rainbow and brown trout.
The Nature Conservancy has a major influence in the communities along the Bighorn Mountains, and as a result a significant portion of the mountain front has been placed under conservation easement protecting the view shed in perpetuity. The Seven Diamond Seven Ranch is no exception and its conservation easement is available for review.
