Mainland Oceanfront Acreage
160 acres located on the shores of Penbridge Cove at the head of Bessborough Bay, north of Hardwicke Island. 1200ft of tidal oceanfront with low bank easy access & southern exposure. A substantial creek runs through the property from the northeast corner crossing through the center of the southern property line & appears to be a reliable year-round source of fresh water. A bulk of the upland portion of the property was logged in 1980 & replanted with Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar & Western Hemlock. The ocean side was logged in 2004. The entire property is in a healthy state of regeneration. This picturesque area has an abundance of wildlife, fresh, & salt-water fishing. Outdoor recreation includes caving, kayaking, hiking, whale watching & wildlife viewing. Robson Bight Provincial Park – to the northwest in Johnstone Strait, provides ocean adventurers with a sure thing when it comes to whale watching.
